Butter Sponge Cake🍽

Hi everyone!!!

Today let us know how to make a super soft sponge cake/butter sponge cake recipe by cooked dough method!!!


Many of my friends do not have measuring cups at their home. so they requested me to measure the quantity of the flour and sugar by the tablespoon.

So here I am given the measurement in a tablespoon.

For Egg Yolks:

Egg yolks- 4 nos

Butter – 5 tablespoon

Milk – 8 tablespoon

Sugar – 4 tablespoon

Cake flour – 12 tablespoon

For Egg Whites:

Egg whites – 4 nos

Cream of tartar – 1/2 teaspoon

Sugar – 8 tablespoons


Separate egg yolks and whites in a bowl. Heat the milk and butter over low heat.

Once the butter is melted in the milk, take it out from the stove and add sugar, egg yolks, and all-purpose flour give it a nice mix and keep it aside.

Add cream of tartar and sugar little by little into the egg whites and beat until stiff peak formed

Now fold the white batter into the yolk batter. Don’t over mix just give them a nice fold.

Pour the batter into your prepared pan.bang it to remove any air bubbles and smooth it out evenly to the edges

pour enough hot water in a larger pan and place the cake pan over it.no need to preheat the oven.bake for 45 minutes at 150-degree Celsius.

Prepare the whipped cream. Pour the heavy cream into the chilled bowl and use an electric or stand mixer to beat the heavy cream on medium-high speed until the cream starts to thicken. Slowly add the powdered sugar and continue beating on high speed until stiff peaks form. Spread it on the top of the cake.

Turn the heat under the double boiler on to low. As soon as the chocolate chips begin to melt immediately, Stir constantly until the chocolate chips are almost completely melted, then remove them from the heat and decorate it.

Shrimp and mushroom recipe🍄🍽

Shrimp and mushroom masala in easy steps!!!




Oil 1 tbs

Butter 2 to 3 tbs

Onion 1 medium

Ginger garlic paste 1 tbs

Capsicum 1

Green chilly 3 nos

Lemon extract 1 tbs



garam masala 1/2 tsp

Cumin powder 1/2 tsp

Cumin seed 1/2 tsp

Coriander powder 1/2 tsp

Black pepper 1/2 tsp


  • In a large skillet or wok, saute prawns in a butter for 1 minute or until shrimp turn pink.
  • Now take the prawns and keep it aside and sprinkle some salt &pepper on it.
  • Now in the same pan add onions, ginger garlic paste, mushrooms, and all the spices and stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes longer.
  • Finally, add in the prawns and cook for 2 minutes. now switch off the flame and add lemon extract &garnish with coriander leaves.

  • Badam puri

    Hi everyone!!!

    Badam puri – A popular sweet of Karnataka made during Diwali and other festivals.
    • All purpose flour (Maida) – 1 cup
    • Almonds – 1/2 tbsp
    • Ghee – 1/2 tsp
    • Saffron – 1 pinch
    • Kesar food color – 1 pinch
    • Salt -1 pinch
    • Oil – for deep frying
    For sugar syrup:
    • Sugar – 1 cup
    • Water – ½ cup
    • Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
    To make paste:
    • Rice flour – 2 tbsp
    • Ghee – 2 tbsp
    • Soak almonds in hot water for 10 mins.Remove the skin and grind to a smooth paste using 2 to 3 tsp water.
    • Sieve all purpose flour without any lumps in a mixing bowl. Add salt, saffron, kesar food color and mix well.
    • Make a well in the center and drop in the ground almond paste. Add 2 tbsp water to the mixie jar, rinse well and add the water to the bowl.Knead into a soft dough adding more water if necessary.
    • In a flat plate, drop ghee and rub with finger tips till it is smooth. Add rice flour to the ghee and rub both together for 5 to 7 mins till it becomes smooth.
    • Divide the dough into equal lemon sized balls.Roll each ball into thin chapathis.Place one chapathi on a plate.Drop ½ to ¾ tsp of rice-ghee paste and smear all over the surface.Place another chapathi on top and smear the paste all over.Repeat till 5 such layers are stacked.
    • Roll it like a mat from one end to the other tightly resembling a cylinder.Using a sharp knife, cut across the cylinder into ¼ inch thin, round pieces.Once again roll each round piece into thin discs. Use all purpose flour for dusting.
    • Heat oil in a deep pan.When hot, deep fry this badam puri till golden in color and crisp.
    • To make the sugar syrup, heat water in a sauce pan. When it comes to a boil, add sugar and mix well.Boil till the sugar syrup reaches one string consistency, add cardamom powder and keep aside.
    • Dip the puris in warm sugar syrup and arrange on a plate side by side.Badam Puri is ready.Garnish with chopped nuts or powdered sugar sprinkled on top.

    Chicken wrap🌯🍽

    Chicken wraps can be healthy or unhealthy, it all depends on how you make them, what extra ingredients you add and what type of diet you’re following. Here I’m doing this chicken wrap with very simple ingredients. come let’s get started!!!!


    • Tortillas or roti of your choice (room temperature)
    • Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
    • Mustard paste 2 tbsp
    • Tomato ketchup 1 tbsp
    • tomatoes, cucumber, carrot etc
    • roasted chicken breast
  • Here I’m using only tomatoes and some spinach with chicken.you can add vegetables of your choice😊
  • For marinating the chicken:
    • 1tsp chilly powder
      1 tsp pepper powder
      1 tsp ginger garlic paste
      1 tsp white vinegar or lemon extract
      1 Tsp soy sauce
      Salt to taste.
  • Method:
  • When the oil is at the right temperature, add the chicken and cook until golden brown, about five minutes. Drain the chicken on paper towels when done.

    Heat a pan over medium heat. Add one of the wraps and let warm up for a few seconds on each side. Repeat process until all the wraps are warm. 

    To assembling, take one wrap and add two of the fried chicken, mayonnaise, mustard paste, tomato ketchup 1/4 of the chopped tomato and spinach. Fold the wrap and then cut in half crosswise to serve.

    Squid masala🍽

    This hot and fragrant masala is easy to make and a wonderfully unique preparation of squid.

    Ingredients for Squid Masala:
    • Squids rings or sliced 200 grams

    • Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons

    • Turmeric powder a pinch

    • Salt to taste

    • Ginger-garlic paste 1 teaspoon

    • Oil 1 tablespoon

    • Curry leaves 8-10

    • Onions finely chopped 2 medium

    • Green chillies slit2 

    • Tomatoes finely chopped2 medium

    • Coconut oil 2 tablespoons

    • Black pepper powder a pinch

    • Fresh coriander leaves 1 teaspoon for garnishing

    • Lemon wedges to serve

  • Method

    Step 1

    To make masala, heat oil in a pan.. Add onions and 10-12 curry leaves and saute for a minute. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a ½ minute

    Step 2

    Add green chilies,and saute. Add all the spices, tomatoes and salt, mix and cook till the tomatoes turn soft and pulpy.

    Step 3

    Sprinkle little water, mix, cover and cook till fully done.

    Step 4

    Switch off heat, add pepper powder and garam masala.

    Step 5

    Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with a lemon wedge.

    Egg rice with chicken stock🍽

    Rice is a yummy gluten-free ingredient that tastes wonderful by itself, or it can be transformed into so many different dishes, from many different cultures. but, if you happen to love salty, bold, and vibrant flavors, I have a little secret to share with you.  Instead of adding other spices, try cooking egg rice with chicken stock.


    250g long grain rice
    3 tbsp vegetable oil
    2 chilly
    1 onion, finely chopped
    1 tomato,finely chopped
    Turmeric powder a pinch
    4 to 5 Curry leaves
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 piece Chicken stock
    Coriander leaves for garnishing.


    1. Cook the rice and then drain, spread it out to steam-dry and set aside.

    1. Heat 2 to 3 tbsp of the oil in a large wok,over a high heat,then add the chillies,onion and fry until lightly browned.add curry leaves turmeric powder and tomatoes and cook around 5 min
    2. Now add chicken stock and crack an egg onto the pan, and wait for it to cook just a little bit.
    3. just kind of scramble them and make sure there are little bits of egg.
    4. when the egg is cooked, move it into a bowl. add rice to the bowl and sort of mix it just so that the egg and rice are no longer separated.
