Lunch ideas for babies/baby food ideas.

Hi everyone!!!

Nutrition for kids is based on the same principles as nutrition for adults. Everyone needs the same types of nutrients — such as vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, protein, and fat. Children, however, need different amounts of specific nutrients at different ages.

So today I’m going to share two meal recipes mutton rice and potato spinach rice for babies and kids.

  1. Mutton rice:

Ingredient:

  • Oil – 1 tbs
  • Garlic paste- 1/2 Tsp
  • Mutton – 2 tbs
  • Potato cubes – 1 tbs
  • Tomato – 1 tbs
  • Soaked rice – 2 tbs
  • Water – 1 & 1/2 cup
  • Salt – to taste.

Instruction:

Heat oil or ghee in a pan saute garlic paste & add mutton kheema into it mix well until mutton changes color. Now add 1 cup of water,soaked rice, potato cubes&tomato. Mix well and bring it to boil add some salt to taste. Cover & steam cook until desired consistency or 15 mins. Mash well & feed your kid.

2. Rice with potato and spinach:

Ingredients:

  • Oil/ghee – 1 tbs
  • Potato(small cubes) – 1/2 cup
  • Palak (spinach) chopped – 1 tbs
  • Soaked rice – 2 tbs
  • Water – 1 cup (or )required quantity
  • Salt – to taste.

Instruction:

Heat oil or ghee in a pan followed by spinach & potato cubes saute it for 2 to 3 minutes.Now add 1 cup of water and soaked rice. Mix well and bring it to boil add some salt to taste. Cover & steam cook until desired consistency or 15 mins. Mash well & feed your kid.

Musk melon juice/summer special

Hi everyone!!!

Today’s recipe is a lovely fruit juice with muskmelon.its one of my favorite fruit bcoz, during summer, we get dehydrated very quickly, and to keep yourself-rehydrated & fresh.this is one of the best fruit that you can have. you can eat as it is or you can make juice out of it.

Ingredients:

  • Muskmelon/cantaloupe – 1
  • Cane sugar/jaggery – as required

How to make:

  1. Rinse the muskmelon and cut into half
  2. Then slice them into a long pieces
  3. Remove the peel and separate it from the flesh. remove seeds too
  4. Chop and add in a blender. add sugar or jaggery according to ur taste
  5. Blend till smooth.No need to add water.
  6. Pour the muskmelon juice into glasses and serve immediately.
  7. You can add ice cubes if desired.

Note:

  • Serve the muskmelon juice immediately.do not chill or keep in the refrigerator as the taste changes a lot and the juice loses its freshness.

    The lemon chicken recipe is also called as pepper chicken dry.its an instant recipe, perfect for any party. and the best part is, it needs no marination time, you can cook it right away!

    Let’s get into the recipe………🍽

    Ingredients:

    For marination:

    • Chicken – 1 kg
    • Lemon juice – 1 tbs
    • Black pepper powder – 1 tbs
    • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbs
    • Yogurt – 1/2 cup
    • Salt – to taste

    For cooking:

    • Oil/butter – 3 to 4 tbs
    • Bay leaves – 2 to 3
    • Black peppercorns – 8 to 10
    • Black pepper powder – 1 tbs
    • Garlic (sliced) – 2 to 3 cloves
    • Ginger(finely chopped) – 1 tbs
    • Green Chili – 4 nos
    • Lemon juice – 1 tbs.

    For slurry:

    • Water – 2 tbs
    • Cornstarch -1/2 tbs

    Instructions:

    1. First, put all the washed chicken in a bowl, pour some lemon juice, add salt, ginger garlic paste, black pepper powder, curd & mix it well
    2. Now heat a pan and add 3 tbs of oil or butter followed by bay leaves, black peppercorns, garlic, and ginger. saute it for about 40 to 60 seconds.
    3. Now add marinated chicken and mix well & cook on high flame for 2-3 mins only till all the water evaporates or the colour changes a bit.
    4. Add 3-4 green chilies, slit from the middle, carefully add a little bit of salt because we have added some in the marination process.add 1 tbs of black pepper powder & mix well
    5. Now on a low flame, cover & steam cook for 15 to 20 mins. open the lid & turn up the flame to high, add 2 tbs of lemon juice mix well & let the sauce thicken for about 1-2 minutes.
    6. To thicken the sauce, pour cornstarch water on the chicken & mix well. the sauce thickened in 30-40 seconds.
    7. Perfect tender juicy chicken with the dominant flavor of lemon juice & black pepper is ready to taste.

    Chocolate Brownie😋

    Brownies are denser and chocolatey and fudgy. brownies use a lot less moisture and are baked in a pan & served in one layer. they usually contain egg, sugar, cocoa powder etc…

    Let’s get into the recipe…….🍽

    Ingredients:

    • Egg -2 nos
    • Butter(unsalted) – 100 gms
    • Sugar -3/4 cups
    • Vanilla extract – 1 tbs
    • Unsweetened cocoa powder – 1/3 cups
    • All-purpose flour /Maida – 1/2 cups

    Instructions:

    1. Add egg and sugar together in a medium-sized bowl. beat well using a beater or whisk for about 2 to 3 mins.
    2. After that combine butter, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and beat until smooth
    3. Gradually add all-purpose flour into the mixture and fold gently using a spatula
    4. Grease the pan with butter or you can use butter paper and pour the brownie mixture into it.
    5. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degree Celsius for 20 to 25 minutes.

    6. sprinkle some sugar powder or nuts on the top of the brownie.That’s it our yummy delicious chocolate brownie is ready to taste.
